Client Overview
CAMPCO is a heritage multi-state cooperative from coastal Karnataka, running one of South Asia’s largest chocolate manufacturing facilities out of Puttur. Beyond its flagship chocolate line, CAMPCO also produces Calpa, its coconut oil brand, sold under its own identity with a separate social presence. With deep roots in farmer welfare and decades of manufacturing trust behind it, CAMPCO’s consumer-facing brands needed the same energy and consistency online that they’ve built on the factory floor.

The Challenge
A brand with strong manufacturing credibility but limited digital-first engagement needed:
- A consistent social media presence built around its consumer products, not just its institutional identity
- Content that could turn a legacy cooperative into a brand people actively engage with online
- Distinct, well-managed identities for both CAMPCO Chocolates and Calpa across their separate accounts
Our Approach
We run an ongoing social media retainer for CAMPCO, managing both the CAMPCO Chocolates and Calpa accounts with consistent, fixed monthly content across Instagram and Facebook. Alongside this steady content calendar, we also plan and execute occasion-led campaigns when the moment calls for it, adding bursts of engagement on top of the always-on presence.

Ongoing product and brand creatives published consistently across Social media platforms as part of the monthly retainer.

Product-focused creatives for Calpa, CAMPCO’s coconut oil brand, managed on its own dedicated Instagram account.
One example of this approach in action was the Independence Day Quiz Contest, a two-poster campaign with a teaser on August 13th building anticipation, followed by the live contest poster on August 15th with a QR code and link to a 48-hour multiple-choice quiz.

Campaign Results
Impact
- A legacy cooperative now shows up online with the same energy and trust it has built over decades on the factory floor
- Two distinct consumer identities, CAMPCO Chocolates and Calpa, both maintained with their own voice and presence rather than blending into one generic account
- Consistent monthly content has moved CAMPCO from an institutional, low-engagement presence to a brand people actively follow, share, and interact with
- The retainer has created a foundation where occasion-led moments like the quiz contest can land well, because there’s already an engaged audience in place to respond to them
