Introduction
Beginning its journey in the year 2008, ‘Pragathi’ as the name itself suggests, strives for visible progress in the field of academics. While it has become common to spot toppers and rank holders in the highly commercialised education sector, Pragathi Study Centre is a safe harbour created to tutor academically poor students pass with flying colours.
The Challenge
The coaching centre based out of Puttur runs with a motto that in each student is hidden a winner who is waiting to be discovered. The centre offers courses specifically for those students of 10th and 12th grade who have found it a challenge to clear exams. Reaching out to this segment of students has been the main agenda. Therefore the task at hand was to craft a campaign that exclusively attracted students who needed this service.
The Solution
To meet the objective, a hybrid model of campaign was devised, which comprised both physical and digital messages astride roads and over the internet. Since the client offered a specialised service, the message on various platforms had to be constructed carefully to convey the intentions of the client.
Results
The result of running curated messages through print ads and social media messages started seeing footfalls at the coaching centre. From starting out as a service that helped students of 10th grade and 12th grade in the beginning, the client has now gone on to include coaching through online mode besides the existing ones. The client now also tutors for various subjects with multiple batches and for different syllabus.
Conclusion
No matter whether an entrepreneur is starting out with a new business, with the right messaging, the desired results can be obtained no matter what. In the case of this client, a noble initiative of uplifting students with specific needs is conveyed in an understandable manner. As a result, Pragathi has now gone on to include specialised services in its portfolio since its beginning.
